Dentist in Baltimore, MD
Dr. John Fiastro established Fiastro Dental in 1977. Three years later, his wife, Dr. Eva Queral Fiastro, joined the practice. Continuing the family tradition, their daughter, Dr. Eva T. Fiastro, joined them in 2012. The Fiastros serve several generations of families, including the grandchildren of some of their very first patients. They feel honored to serve the dental needs of the Baltimore Highlands community and surrounding areas.

I graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1979.
After working at the Johns Hopkins Children's Comprehensive Dental
Clinic for 1 year, I joined my husband, John, in the practice. We were a
young family with 1 son John, Jr. Two more children followed, another
son Lou, and a daughter, Eva Theresa. With 3 children, I chose to work
part time 2 days a week. I have continued this throughout my career,
working 2-3 days/week. This has enabled me to participate in our
children's care as well as allowed me time to volunteer in our church,
the children's school and activities and many organizations.
Because family is such an important part of my life, I have chosen to do
dentistry in much the same way. We strive to treat our patients like we
would treat our own family. We have families that have been with us
since John opened the practice in 1977. We are now treating the 3rd and
4th generations of some of our families!
I always want the best for my family. I want my family of patients to
look their best and have great oral health. It is for that reason that I
have always been committed to keeping up with the latest in dentistry.
Every year I complete 25-30 hours of continuing education. There are
always so many new and exciting products, techniques, and equipment to
learn about and incorporate into our practice.
Finally, I know dentistry can be very scary for some people. I have
always tried to remember that and make appointments as comfortable as
possible. Sometimes, it's not all about the teeth!! Sometimes, the teeth
are the easy part. Helping that patient feel comfortable, that they're
not being judged, that we will work with them to make them feel better,
look better and chew good.....well, that can be the most difficult. But,
I promise that's what I strive to do.

Our newest hygienist joins the team after Maureen’s retirement. She graduated from the Community College of Baltimore County Dental Hygiene Program in 2016. Having braces and seeing her own smile transform, prompted Joscelyn to want to help others achieve the same confidence that comes from having a healthy smile.
“I truly enjoy working with Dr. Fiastro and his team because I know I am working with fellow dental health care professionals that share the same passion for providing only the best quality patient care.”
Most of her free time is spent with her husband and their miniature Dachshund, Tito, enjoying the outdoors and making the most out of each and every day.

One of the newest members of the Fiastro Dental team! I am married and have four children and three grandchildren. My husband and I moved to Maryland 2 years ago from Colorado Springs, Colorado and I try to get back there when I can to visit my family.
I have been a dental hygienist for 25 years and have been in this office since June, 2014. I love working here! The doctors and staff are awesome. I really love being a dental hygienist. Helping people keep their teeth and gums healthy is very rewarding to me as I know how important that it to people's overall health. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Iveth has been in our practice since she was 9 years old! Starting out as a patient she was always interested in what the doctors or hygienists were doing. So five years ago when we expanded our practice, it was a no brainer to add her as a member of our staff. Since then, Iveth has completed classes in Dental Radiology and Qualified Expanded Functions Dental Assisting. Iveth also does a great job translating and explaining procedures to our Spanish speaking patients.
Iveth spends her free time chasing her two year old daughter around, catching up on popular TV shows, and when she can….taking naps!
Jess graduated from Dental Assistant School in 2012 and joined our practice in 2014. She is certified in Dental Radiology and a Qualified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Jess is passionate about her job and enjoys keeping up with current dental techniques by taking continuing education courses with the team.
When Jess is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 kids. On the weekends, you can usually find the family at the softball field as well as crafting and cheering on the Steelers.

Beki can best be described as “the runner” in the practice. Not only does she run races of various distances, she also runs our schedule and makes sure our days run smoothly. Don’t be surprised if Beki remembers the kids’ school schedules, Federal holidays or even the days/ times that you prefer to schedule your appointment. She is our go to person to discuss scheduling, treatment plans and payment arrangements. Beki is also fluent Spanish as well.
When Beki is not training for a race; she is usually running her kids to their sports practices, games, and competitions.
